Let's Adopt Indonesia (LAI) -- a part of Let's Adopt Global -- was founded in 2011 as one of the first animal rescue organization in Indonesia.

Our primary mission : to educate people more about the importance of spay/neutering, rescue and rehome abandoned animals one at a time. We also aim to talk more about animal welfare issues as these topics aren't commonly talked about even though stray cats and dogs are already a common sight in every Indonesian city, who often fell victim to abuse, neglect and accidents due to coexisting with humans.

Let's Adopt Indonesia is operated solely by a group of volunteers, funded entirely by private donations and merchandise sale. Unlike any other animal rescue groups, we DO NOT have a shelter.

As of 2019, Let's Adopt Indonesia is an official NGO foundation "YAYASAN ADOPSI HEWAN INDONESIA".

As of 2020, we reduce our rescue activities to focus more on spay-neuter movements, educate the public about animal welfare and to help animals in need, one at a time
